Martinique is a beautiful island in the lower region of the Lesser Antilles chain, nestled between Guadalupe and Dominica to the north; St. Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, and Barbados to the south. For sailors, there are many fantastic anchorages and harbors. It is often stated that St. Anne, on the southeast coast, is one of the best anchorages in the Caribbean. Martinique is also home to Le Marin on the southeast coast, home of a world class service marina. One of only a few Amel direct service facilities is located here.
